Ground - Rubber Band Powered Cars
PropRacers Our PropRacers are racers powered by one pusher propeller. The balsa body is cut/carved/assembled from a block or sheets of balsa. Power is provided by one or more rubber band motors. The vehicles can run on the ground or can run on a standard CO2 racer track. There are several types of PropRacers starting with the basic Mini Sonic which comes ready to assemble. The Mini PropRacers are 4 wheeled vehicles and the Mini SideWinders run on three wheels. All these racers can achieve race speeds of over 30 mph. The nice part about PropRacers is that there is no cost involved in running the cars multiple times. In addition, science can be readily applied to the vehicles to improve their performance. This can be as basic as reducing the overall PropRacer weight up to re-pitching the pusher propeller for added thrust. Give PropRacers a try. Your students will love them. AeroRacers

AeroRacers are a lot of fun and can be run virtually anywhere. They are easy to make, yet a lot of science is integrated.
On the MiniNationals rubber band powered dragsters, traction and power is of utmost importance. A gearbox in the form of a simple machine can be added for faster acceleration.
AeroRacers are powered by one or more rubber bands that transfer the power to the rear axle through a string. Laser-cut and build-your-own versions available. No extra charge for many runs!
All AeroRacers are made entirely from wood. Except for the "design your own" kits, all body parts are cut by laser and fit precisely. These inter-locking parts allow for easy assembly. Fully illustrated instructions are provided. No tools are required at any time, which makes for a great science project. Kits come complete; all you need is glue and a piece of sandpaper.
