Description:
The Silver Eagle, a free flight glider launched by the Silver high start. It is constructed
totally of wood and features the patented "FUN-SAVER" crash protection
system. The center of gravity of the aircraft can be altered easily
by adding weight in the front of the fuselage.
The kit features
all laser cut parts and pre cut leading and trailing edge balsa sheets.
This allows the aircraft to be built in a minimum amount of time.
In the 2003
Great American Aero Derby summer camp a Silver Eagle flew in excess
of 7 minutes. The Silver Eagle is a great beginner competition glider
that can easily come in first place at the Great American Aero Derby
glider competition.
