This dethermalizer is designed to be used on our free flight gliders AF-88 Silver Eagle and AF-89 Golden Eagle. Once installed they will prevent the aircraft from flying away. The timer will activate raising the elevator by 45 degrees. The plane will now safely descend from the thermal. The dethermalizer is an absolute must for flyers do not want to loose their plane due to a thermal. The timer can be set to be activated anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 minutes.

This viscous friction timer comes complete with instructions and weighs approximately 1 gram. Some modifications to the aircraft are necessary to install the kick-up elevator.

This timing device can also be used as a starting device for vehicles such as the Late Brake Aero LBA-E/M and the Challenger C-1.
